Purpose:The Community Services Department (CSD) created through a recent re-organization plan approved by the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) was established for the purpose of consolidating and organizing most of the community service functions of Santa Fe County Government. CSD includes Fire, Regional Emergency Communications Center (RECC/911 Dispatch), Housing, Health, Community Projects/Open Space & Trails and Teen Court. These services were previously organized under several different departments. |

The mission of the Community Services Department is to provide comprehensive and quality services and support to the citizens of Santa Fe County. CSD includes the following departments: Fire, Regional Emergency Communications Center (RECC/911 Dispatch), Health, Housing, Community Projects/Open Space & Trails and Teen Court. CSD will be a quality provider of support services to Santa Fe County residents and Santa Fe County Personnel. CSD will work closely with their partners to insure that they have adequate support and that we meet the needs of Santa Fe County in a consistent and responsive fashion.
