Report and Remove GraffitiCounty Anti-Graffiti Program
Santa Fe County wants to remind residents about the resources they have available to them to fight graffiti. “We’re here to help, all a resident has to do is contact us” said Santa Fe County Commissioner Virginia Vigil. “Graffiti is a community problem; prevention and clean up require a community effort.” Graffiti removal, free paint, and a financial reward for identifying those who vandalize property with graffiti are available to residents by calling the County’s Anti-Graffiti Hotline at 995.2721. The focus areas for the Anti-Graffiti Program are 1) Reporting, 2) Removal, and 3) Education.
ReportingTo report vandalism in progress, call 428.3720. To report graffiti, call 995.2721, or fill out the form below. To report information about vandals to Crime Stoppers, call 955.5050. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $500 for information leading to the arrest of persons vandalizing property with graffiti. RemovalTo have the County remove graffiti, call 995.2721. To get free paint for a “do-it-yourself” graffiti removal project, sign up for the fill out the form below. Please Note: One of the keys to stopping graffiti is to have it removed quickly. Per County ordinance, it is the responsibility of County property owners to clean up graffiti on their property. If they do not, they face fines of up to $300 and/or up to 364 days in jail. Santa Fe County will continue to make resources available to assist residents in removing graffiti quickly.
