Pursuant to Section 1-11-5, NMSA 1978, the Office of the County Clerk will begin the preparation, inspection, certification and sealing of voting systems to be used in the June 5, 2012 Primary Election on May 1, 2012 at the Voting Systems Warehouse, 2600 Galisteo Street, Santa Fe. Mission Statement The vision of the Santa Fe County Clerk’s Office is to be the most productive elections and recording office with the best customer service and the best solutions for conducting elections and recording documents and accessing public records. The mission of the Recording Division of the Clerk’s office is to maintain a perpetual, comprehensive set of public records consisting of all documents appropriately presented for recording for the public so that any member of the public can readily access the information to conduct their personal and business activities with the assurance that, where appropriate, privacy will be protected and that their transactions were executed in accordance with the law. The mission of the Bureau of Elections Division of the Clerk’s Office is to provide accurate voter registration files and election canvasses, while conducting elections to ensure that each individual voter has an opportunity for equal participation in a non-partisan, respectful and professional environment.
