Program ListWhen participating in any Teen Court program. Teens must adhere to the Code of Conduct. Substance Abuse Program (SAP) SAP consists of six group sessions and a Family Night and a Reality Program. This program was created to help teens understand how drugs effect their families, behavior, and their future. Middle School Parent Involvement Program (PIP) PIP was designed to better communicate between you and your child. To gain support from other families for positive behavior changes, To increase positive changes in your child's behavior. Reduced risk of future substance use. Shoplifting Intervention Class (SIC) This unique course provides a forum for participants to evaluate their behavior (both positive and negative) and to assess what behavior changes would be necessary to keep them out of future difficulties by using Restorative Justice. DWI Prevention Class The DWI Class is held once a month. It is usually held on a Tuesday. We start promptly at 3:45 p.m. therefore if you are late you must reschedule and pay the rescheduling fee of $15.00. Defensive Driving Class/Alive @ 25 Alive @ 25 is a four-hour defensive driving class specifically created for the young drivers in our communites and schools. Alive @ 25 helps teens learn such things as how to deal with emotions behind the wheel, peer pressure, and distracting passengers. Gang Resiliency Opportunities Work (G.R.O.W.) G.R.O.W. was started just recently to assist in our communities gang problem. Our task is to prevent youth from problem behaviors such as gang affiliation, substance abuse, and truancy. Restorative Justice Circles Restorative justice is a response to crime that focuses on restoring the loss suffered by victims, holding offenders accountable for the harm they have caused, and building peace within communities. Smoking Cessation Program The Smoking Cessation Program is a four week program which meets once a week. We partner with the Santa Public Schools Office of Student Wellness to facilitate the program. |
