Business Inspections

The Santa Fe County Fire Prevention Division is required, by code, to perform annual fire inspections of businesses located in Santa Fe County such as stores, restaurants, hotels, large assembly facilities, and schools to verify compliance with the 1997 Uniform Fire Code and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. Home occupancy businesses that serve the public are also required to be inspected annually.
