Lost/Stolen/Destroyed Permits

If your annual convenience center permit has been stolen, lost, or destroyed, follow instructions below:

Contact the Division of Solid Waste at 992-3010 to report the permit lost/stolen/destroyed. We will need the following information to determine if a replacement can be provided:

1. Type of permit lost/stolen/destroyed (Recycling only? 10-Trip Residential?, etc.)
2. Name as shown on the permit application
3. Address
4. Telephone number(s) to reach you during business hours
5. Name(s) of transfer station(s) used
6. (If you only use your permit for recycling, please note this in your message)

Once we have this information, our Compliance Officer will confirm the number of times your missing card was used. Once the investigation is completed (it usually takes three working days) you will be called and told that you have been authorized to obtain a replacement permit.

A replacement permit will cost $15.00, and the new card will be punched with the number of times the lost permit was used. Authorized replacement permits can only be obtained in person from the Treasurer's Office (986-6253), at the County Court House, at the corner of Grant and Sandoval. This office is open M-F 8-5.
