Past SLDP Process Information

What is the Public Participation Process for the SLDP?

• The First Draft of the SLDP was presented to the County Development Review Committee on Thursday, October 1, 2009.
   
• A printed copy of the SLDP will be available at various locations throughout the County including the County Planning and Development Services Office in the County Administrative Building, the County Satellite Offices, the Public Libraries, and other locations throughout the County. A free CD copy of the draft is available at the County Planning office or by contacting Melissa Holmes at 995-2717.
   
• Santa Fe County will hold a series of public input study sessions throughout the County to present and review the SLDP from October 13th through October 21st.  (Full schedule below.)

How and when can I make comments on the Plan?

Public comments will be recorded and addressed throughout the process. The first draft of the SLDP will be revised based on public input and comments. The County Development Review Committee (CDRC) will hold a series of public hearings on the SLDP draft and make a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC). The BCC will then hold at least two public hearings at the beginning of the new year for final comments and revisions.
