Roads

 

RACSanta Fe County is currently soliciting volunteers to serve on the Road Advisory Committee. This Committee discusses road maintenance issues and improvements of Santa Fe County roads.
Those appointed to this committee must live in the area of representation. The following areas are lacking representation, either as a member or alternate member:

  • Area 2 Pojoaque/Nambe
  • Area 5 Old Santa Fe Trail/Canada de Los Alamos
  • Area 7 Richards Ave/Valle Lindo Subdivision
  • Area 9 La Cienega/La Cieneguilla
  • Area 12 Canoncito/Glorieta
  • Area 13 Lamy/Galisteo
  • Area 15 Stanley/White Lakes

Mission Statement

The mission of the Santa Fe County Public Works Division is to maintain and improve the quality of life for residents in Santa Fe County; by maintaining and improving County Roads for the safe and efficient movement of people, goods and services; by constructing sanitary sewer systems; and by providing for the safe and sanitary collection and disposal of solid waste.

Function

The function of the Santa Fe County Public Works Division is to provide road maintenance services; construct road improvements; in some situations construct sanitary sewer systems and water systems; provide for solid waste collection and disposal; as an internal service provide fleet maintenance services. If you are experiencing a county maintenence problem with roads or road signs, please contact us at 992-3010.

We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00am-12:00 and 1:00 - 5:00 pm, except holidays.
